The Opportunity
At Industrial Constructors/Managers (ICM), we do not just build structure, we build the backbone of industry. We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Thornton, CO. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for W2 and union employees, payroll reporting, record maintenance, and regulatory compliance support. Certified Payroll and LCP Tracker experience are preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do
- Process and support payroll activities for W2 and union employees.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Administer employee garnishments and ensure timely, accurate withholding and remittance.
- Complete employment and wage verifications (VOEs).
- Support regulatory reporting, tax filings, prevailing wage reporting, and project-specific requirements.
- Assist with certified payroll reporting and submissions when applicable.
- Utilize LCP Tracker and other public works reporting systems as needed.
- Complete OCIP and other required project reporting.
- Serve as a resource for employees, auditors, and project teams regarding payroll matters.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of payroll administration experience; construction and union payroll experience preferred. Certified Payroll experience preferred.
- Core Payroll Systems: Proficiency in payroll software (ComputerEase or similar platforms). LCP Tracker experience preferred.
- Technical Aptitude: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation). Strong understanding of payroll systems and their impact. Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and system-related errors.
- Data Management & Reporting: Experience with payroll reporting systems and electronic document retention. Knowledge of data security protocols for sensitive employee information.
- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Familiarity with FLSA, wage and hour laws, union payroll requirements, and prevailing wage laws.
- Attributes: Deadline driven with a high level of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills. Customer service mindset, keeping discretion and confidentiality at the forefront. Able to stay focused in a fast-paced and interrupted driven environment.
