Controls Engineer
6 month contract with perm conversion opportunity
Job Scope
- Design and program PLC, HMI, and motion control systems
- Create electrical schematics and control panel layouts
- Support system integration, testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot automation equipment and control systems
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams throughout project execution
- Provide occasional on-site startup and installation support
Qualifications
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
- Knowledge of motion control systems, VFDs, servos, and industrial I/O
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Familiarity with industrial electrical and machine safety standards
