Parts Counter Associate – Maserati, Alfa Romeo & Fiat of Naperville
We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter Associate to join our team at our Italian brand dealership group in Naperville, IL. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong product knowledge, organizational discipline, and the ability to support both retail customers and the service department efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist retail customers, service advisors, and technicians in identifying and sourcing correct parts for Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat vehicles
- Process parts orders through Dealertrack and the Stellantis parts portal
- Source used and hard-to-find parts through various secondary suppliers and aftermarket channels as needed
- Coordinate parts needs with service advisors via Xtime to ensure accurate scheduling and parts availability ahead of repair orders
- Manage inbound shipments, receiving, and inventory stocking
- Maintain accurate bin locations and conduct regular cycle counts
- Handle special-order parts — communicate ETAs to service advisors and customers
- Process cores, returns, and warranty parts per manufacturer and dealership policy
- Stage and dispatch parts to technicians to support service throughput
- Maintain a clean, organized parts room and counter area
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of automotive parts counter experience, dealership preferred
- Hands-on experience with Dealertrack DMS required
- Familiarity with the Stellantis parts portal a strong plus
- Experience with Xtime or similar service scheduling platforms preferred
- Ability to read parts diagrams and electronic parts catalogs (EPC)
- Comfortable sourcing parts across multiple vendors and platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Valid driver's license
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate or salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits package.
Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
