F & B Care Therapy Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our growing Home Health Agency.

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Part-Time (20 Hours per Week)
Position Summary
The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee the clinical operations of our Home Health Agency, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations while providing leadership and support to our clinical staff. The DON plays a vital role in maintaining quality patient care, supervising nursing services, and promoting clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and therapy staff.
- Review and oversee patient admissions, Plans of Care (POCs), and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, AHCA, and all applicable state and federal Home Health regulations.
- Supervise and support Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides, and therapy staff.
- Monitor Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
- Participate in clinical case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Assist with accreditation surveys and regulatory audits.
- Provide clinical guidance, education, and mentorship to staff.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required.
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Clinical Manager in a Home Health Agency is highly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Home Health clinical experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), AHCA regulations, OASIS, Plans of Care, and home health documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
