Our clinic is in need of a mindful team member whose main job functions are 50% reception and 50% veterinary technician assistant. This position is best suited for a person with at least 5 years of full time experience working in a fast paced veterinary clinic. Focus and communication are vital skills this candidate must possess as their major role is to accurately relay information not only within the clinic but with clients over the phone.
Full time position only. 4x10. M,W,Th,F are required.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years cumulative experience working in a small animal hospital setting is required.
The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, provide professional and compassionate care; be able to multitask, must have reliable attendance, and work well on a team that is dedicated to providing the best of care to both patients and clients. The candidate must be of outstanding moral character, a good communicator, able to think critically, and attentive to detail.
Required Skills:
Experience with a multi-line phone system, general clerical duties, filing charts, filling prescription requests, client admitting, pre/post exam room preparation, scheduling appointments, and triage. Cornerstone practice SW and filling prescription requests is highly weighted.
Experience with administering vaccines to dogs and cats, safe restraint, TNT, AG's, SQ fluids, injectables, catheter placement, and dispensing prescription medications.
