Position Overview:
Zeki Experts is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to validate software functionality, identify defects, and help deliver high-quality products that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes.
- Test web applications, mobile applications, REST APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Validate application performance, usability, security, and compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Review software requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality before development begins.
- Maintain comprehensive QA documentation and testing reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple testing tasks while meeting project deadlines.
Pay: $85,829.89 - $105,633.85 per year
