Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Operator to join our team and contribute to manufacturing excellence.
Production Operators will work in all areas during our expansion
60+ hour weeks! Lots of OT
Duties
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other manufacturing equipment with precision and efficiency
- Set up machining tools and fabrication tooling according to technical drawings and blueprint specifications
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement instruments to ensure parts meet strict tolerances
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately for proper machine setup and fabrication processes
- Conduct welding, sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and press brake operations as required
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures for machine operation, handling hand tools, cranes, and other equipment
- Assist in assembly processes and ensure all manufactured parts adhere to quality control specifications
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, or stamping presses in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with machining tools setup, tooling adjustments, and measurement techniques for quality assurance
- Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing environments including press operation and crane handling
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining and measurement tasks
- Hands-on experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, EDM processes or similar manufacturing techniques is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision measurement and quality inspection
