Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, manage teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, scheduling, cost control, and technical drawings will drive project success and client satisfaction. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating construction schedules with all stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenses, and implementing cost management strategies to optimize resources.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings using Civil 3D and other design tools.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution on-site and in-office.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance with regulations and standards; conduct regular site inspections.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead project meetings to communicate progress updates, resolve issues promptly, and facilitate team collaboration.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools.
- Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with Civil 3D is preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction regulations governing safety practices and environmental standards.
- Prior experience managing budgets for complex projects with multiple stakeholders involved.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
