Position Summary:
Summer Operations Assistants support district-wide building transitions during the summer months. This includes assisting with the cleaning, packing, and organization of facilities that are relocating, closing, or undergoing renovations. The role also provides support for technology inventory, student device processing, and curriculum distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with cleaning, packing, and clearing classrooms and buildings during moves, closures, or renovations
Support inventory management of technology equipment across multiple locations
Process, clean, and triage student Chromebooks for redistribution or repair
Assist with the intake, organization, and distribution of curriculum materials
Move and organize furniture and equipment as needed
Maintain a safe and organized work environment throughout all assigned tasks
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry 15–20 pounds regularly
Comfortable working in environments that may be hot, dusty, or physically demanding
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple work sites
Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills:
Basic familiarity with technology devices (e.g., Chromebooks)
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Work Conditions:
This position involves physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Work may take place in varying conditions, including non-climate-controlled environments.
