Position Summary:
Arc Adaptive Machining Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position will complete scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, perform repairs, and support equipment and process improvement projects. Candidates with different experience levels will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment problems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and return machines to production.
- Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged, or failing components.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, EDM machines, compressors, pumps, filtration systems, and other production equipment.
- Read equipment manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Document completed maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts.
- Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and spare parts.
- Work with equipment manufacturers and outside service technicians when needed.
- Support projects that improve equipment safety, reliability, cycle time, and ease of maintenance.
- Perform general facility maintenance as needed.
- Follow lockout/tagout and other workplace safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow maintenance instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to organize and document completed work.
- Ability to lift up to [50] pounds and work around industrial equipment.
- Willingness to learn unfamiliar equipment and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.
- Experience maintaining CNC machines, EDM machines, grinders, machining centers, or other production equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, including the use of a multimeter.
- Experience with motors, pumps, sensors, switches, relays, drives, and machine controls.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working independently to diagnose and repair equipment failures.
