We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teacher who loves Jesus, loves children, and believes learning should be joyful. Our teachers create classrooms where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn while growing in both faith and foundational skills.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching through play, incorporating faith into everyday moments, and building meaningful relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm, Christ-centered classroom environment where children feel valued and encouraged.
- Plan engaging lessons that combine faith-based learning, play, creativity, and early childhood education principles.
- Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, Bible stories, prayer, music, art, early literacy, and hands-on learning.
- Support each child’s social, emotional, spiritual, and academic development.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with families and collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership.
- Follow all childcare licensing standards and center policies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (childcare, preschool, church ministry, or teaching preferred).
- Passion for faith-based education and serving children with patience and kindness.
- Ability to plan activities, manage a classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Reliable, energetic, nurturing, and team-oriented.
- Must meet Texas Child Care licensing requirements or be willing to obtain required training.
