Collision Repair Technician / Body Shop Mechanic
Genesis Collision Center in St. Clair Shores, MI is hiring an experienced Collision Repair Technician / Body Shop Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a consistent daytime schedule and excellent benefits starting on your first day.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Full-time
- No weekend schedule
Job Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs on vehicles involved in collisions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical components damaged during accidents
- Inspect vehicles to identify collision-related mechanical damage
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and quality standards
- Work closely with the collision repair team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Complete quality control inspections on finished repairs
Qualifications
- Required: State of Michigan Collision-Related Mechanical Certification
- Previous experience as a Collision Repair Technician, Body Shop Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Collision Mechanic
- Strong mechanical diagnosis and repair skills
- Knowledge of collision-related mechanical systems and repairs
- Ability to accurately diagnose vehicle damage and complete quality repairs
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality workmanship
