Motivate is seeking Station Cleaning Services Technicians who will maintain the overall cleanliness of street fixtures, docking stations, and advertising panels. The starting work schedules are overnight shifts, Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am. Please note that schedules are subject to change as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and for business need.
About the Role
- Inspect and evaluate assigned bike share stations for cleanliness
- Perform bike-share station and other area cleaning services using power washer equipment and various tools
- Complete assigned projects thoroughly and to quality standards, such as bike lane or parking striping and graffiti removal
- Utilize mobile devices to document work order ticket completion records
- Keep and maintain clean and presentable work areas, tools, and equipment
- Operate a large vehicle to travel throughout urban areas, following safe driving and work practices
About You
- You have a valid Driver’s License and can pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. All individuals driving as a part of the job duties will be required to pass a driver safety road test upon hire
- You are experienced and comfortable operating (driving, maneuvering, and parking) large vehicles in busy, urban areas
- You enjoy working outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions
- You are proficient with using apps on a smart phone and/or tablet
- You are knowledgeable in using various tools and equipment
- You can lift up to 75 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, bend, stoop, kneel, sit or stand for long periods of time
