Role and Responsibilities
Skilled CNC machinist responsible for setting up and producing close tolerance parts requiring no assistance. Must be able to inspect and record in process and first article data for all parts produced.
Job Duties
Applicant must have experience setting up and running CNC mills or lathes. Must be a team player with the ability to work closely with Quality Control and other skilled and unskilled operators. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to run multiple machines simultaneously and perform secondary operations as required. Perform required daily PM on any equipment assigned to. Develop, document and maintain required set-up sheets for jobs programmed.
Describe the overall skill needed to be successful
- In depth CNC machining knowledge.
- Hands on experience with all required inspection equipment.
- Ability to read blue prints, Geometric Tolerance.
- Knowledge of tooling required.
- Ability to work as a team player with multiple departments; Quality, Maintenance, etc.
Qualifications required for this position
- 5+ yrs experience running CNC mills or lathes.
- 2+ yrs experience setting up CNC mills or lathes.
- Ability to inspect all work prior to submitting for 1st piece approval.
- Good problem-solving skills.
