The Vision
At OPTIK! European Eyewear, we don't sell glasses. We curate personal identity. For ten years, our St. Petersburg flagship has rejected the sterile, insurance-driven, big-box model and built something rarer: a home for independent, avant-garde eyewear — Mykita, Theo, Sabine Be — paired with meticulous in-house lens finishing and edging.
Now we're opening a second boutique in Belleair Bluffs, and we're looking for an elite Licensed Optician who is equal parts technical expert, stylist, and storyteller.
The Role
This is not traditional retail. You'll act as a private style consultant to a sophisticated, affluent clientele.
- Curate & style. Lead deeply personal styling consultations, matching each client's features, aesthetic, and lifestyle to the right independent frame.
- Master the craft. Take precise measurements and guide clients to advanced, premium lens designs suited to how they actually live and see.
- Tell the story. Bring to life the heritage, craftsmanship, and independent spirit behind the houses we carry.
- Set the standard. Uphold the gallery-like feel of the boutique and deliver a flawless experience from welcome to final dispense.
Onboarding & Culture Immersion
We don't throw you into the deep end. Your first four weeks are spent fully immersed at our St. Petersburg flagship, training directly alongside the owner and our veteran optician. You'll learn our clienteling systems, absorb our brand narratives, and refine your craft before helping us anchor the grand opening in Belleair Bluffs. Few opticians ever get to learn a proven luxury system from the inside — you will.
