Job Description
B&B Marina on Higgins Lake is hiring a hardworking and reliable Dock Attendant for the season. This is an active, outdoor position where you’ll spend your day on the water helping customers enjoy their time on the lake.
Dock Attendants play a key role in daily operations—assisting with boat rentals, fueling, and making sure customers have a safe and positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Send out rental boats and assist customers with departures
- Help guide and secure boats as they return to the dock
- Pump gas for customers at the end of the dock
- Inspect rental boats for damage before and after use
- Clean and prepare boats for the next rental
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service throughout the day
- Maintain a safe and organized dock area
Qualifications
- Reliable and available through September
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to stand, lift, and stay active for up to 10-hour shifts
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customers
- Team player who can handle a fast-paced environment
No experience required — we will train the right candidate.
Compensation & Perks
- Starting pay of $14/hour
- High tip potential — on peak days, tips can exceed hourly pay

Schedule
- Seasonal position through September
- Must be available for weekends, holidays, and busy summer days
- Must be available from Memorial day through Labor Day
