JOB GOAL: To relieve the teaching staff members of various non-professional tasks and assist with other activities that are primarily non-instructional in nature.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Demonstrated record of successful employment.

Previous experience working with elementary school children.

Demonstrated ability to use good judgment.

Valid CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate is required.

Valid Educational Aide Permit is required.

Must complete all training as required by Sylvania Schools and/or the Ohio Department of Education.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Supervise students on the playground and maintain a safe atmosphere.

Organize group games and activities.
-
Assume responsibility for playground and equipment.
-
Supervise movement of students to and from the playground.
-
Responsible to enter personal absences on Red Rover and Time Clock Plus.

Responsible to check your district email account on a regular basis, and to communicate as needed via district email.

Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as necessary to assure successful daily operation of the elementary building.
