This position services the areas in and around Huntsville, AL.
Our POS Technicians serve our stand operators on a daily basis. Customer interaction and problem solving skills are a must. Our technicians must be self-starters, able to organize work flow efficiently with little supervision. Technicians must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues to end-users who may not have a technical background. We operate our stands with a “here to serve” mentality. Job scope
- Provide year-round restaurant technical support
- Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with all employees, vendors and TBC Help Desk
- Meet standards set by Tacala for all areas of responsibility
Core Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain all stand technology
- POS systems, asset protection security equipment and back of the house operating systems
- Help desk escalation
- Respond to internal ticket reporting system
- Work with the Development, Facilities and Asset Protection departments on all technology for remodel, offset, and new construction buildings
- Other related duties as necessary
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma
- QSR experience preferred
- One year experience in a field technician support role preferred
- Comfortable around technology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users in order to troubleshoot and find solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver results, meet tight deadlines and targets
- Ability to meeting physical requirements such as standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting and moving up to 75 lbs., reaching, manual dexterity and visual acuity
