Job Details:
- Come join a well -established practice that needs a part time Hygienist
- Thursday and Friday
- Hourly plus 30% of net production, earn $50+/hr
- Full ancillary staff for support
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Assist in four-handed dentistry by working closely with the dentist during procedures to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and care plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Implement infection control measures in accordance with established protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dental systems and terminology is essential for effective communication within the team.
- A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals is crucial.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient assessment techniques will be beneficial in this role.
