The RN PACU, is responsible for therapeutic, effective patient / family-center care according to physician order, in compliance with the philosophy of the Center, standards of practice and regulations of governing agencies.
In accordance with the Mission and Vision of the Mississippi Urology Surgery Center personnel provide services in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional and social needs with respect to the beliefs and values of co-workers, patients and their families.

- Graduate of accredited school of Registered Nursing.

Two years related nursing experience desired.

Demonstrates competency upon hire in performing all related job tasks/functions.

Demonstrates cooperative work attitude toward and with co-employees, management, patients, visitors and physicians.

Maintains Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required by the State Board of Nursing.

Seeks and maintains certification in ACLS, and BLS.

Cross-trains in other Center areas to serve as staff team member.

Working knowledge and comfort with computer use.

Maintains regular attendance.
