Job Summary
Southend Pharmacy is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. This person will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all inventory processes for our 503A pharmacy. You will be a key player in our operations, directly contributing to cost savings, regulatory compliance, and our overall business growth. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can help us build a scalable and highly organized inventory system from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize inventory levels and records to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies

Execute regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock integrity

Collaborate on the receiving process by accurately verifying incoming shipments and inspecting for quality and damage

Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings

Ensure all inventory management practices comply with regulatory requirements, including GMP and FDA regulations

Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of materials for production

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
What We Require

High school diploma or GED
-
2-3 years of proven experience in a dedicated inventory control role

Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems, such as Net Suite

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Preferred Requirement

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as supply chain management or logistics

Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry

Certification in inventory management or a related field

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace, with a focus on using spreadsheet tools (like Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting
