Job Title: Assembly/ Assembler
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Friday)
Job Description:
- Assembler has the primary responsibility to assemble products per work instructions.
- This is an entry level position with training and support provided to ensure successful assembly of product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Read work instructions, verify work instructions match assignment.
- Learn new work instructions as required.
- Collect required materials from bins.
- Set up workstations per work instruction.
- Assemble parts and inspect own work as instructed.
- Complete required training in a timely manner.
- Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested.
- Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management.
- Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as required in work instructions.
- Verify work instructions match assignment
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructions.
- Ability to understand verbal work instructions.
- Able to succeed in highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while still providing service excellence.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
- Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions; basic computer skills.
- IPC soldering certification preferred; soldering skills required
- Ability to read/write/communicate in English language.
