Automotive Technician -
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician with a clean driving record. This candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, following dealer and factory standards.
An experienced Technician should posses the ability to perform quality work without direct or continual supervision.
TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include:
· Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with factory standards.
· Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.
· Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order and communicate to Service Advisor.
· Notify Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised.
· Clearly and accurately document all work performed.
· Road test vehicles as required to ensure customers complaint has been resolved.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years general mechanical experience in an established shop.
- Must have training & experience with computer diagnostic systems, scanners, etc.
- Strong background in diagnosing and repairs.
- VALID Driver's License required.
- This individual should also possess the ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks, have a strong work ethic.
- Must be a self-starter. One who is able to work fast & thorough without errors, and takes pride in their work. - Must be able to communicate effectively with Service Writer.
Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year ( salary pay + commission )
