Duties:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living areas
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
