Traffic Control - Lot Attendant (Non-Driving)
Clayton Valet is seeking individuals to assist with guiding traffic for move-in day at Washington University - no driver's license needed! This gig will pay $20 per hour. Training is provided. Earn up to $240 per day!
Position Overview: Employees in this position will provide adequate and convenient parking & directions to guests and offer as much assistance as needed to those with special needs and requests. This will be accomplished by effectively directing traffic at the location at which they are stationed. Contractors will be expected to provide clear direction to all guests, and effectively communicate all concerns to upper management, site security, or site leadership.
Compensation and Benefits:

Job Responsibilities:

Effectively and consistently direct traffic in the location you are stationed.

Ensure that vehicles are moving in a timely and orderly manner

Ensure that all parking lot/structure rules are followed
-
Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior or violations of parking lot rules to the establishment in which you are stationed immediately.

Effectively communicate with onsite security and/or personnel
-
Promote good customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
-
Always observe and practice safety precautions
-
Follow the Site Supervisor's instructions

Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Must attend Google Meet on Tuesday, August 11, 2026

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (i.e., rain, snow, heat)

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills

Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing
