American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Bay City, MI, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and comfort with floating to ED and Step Down units.

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities

Floating to ED and Step Down units is required
-
13-week contract
-
Active MI RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
-
Comfortable floating to ED and Step Down units
-
Travel nursing experience preferred
-
Neurosurgical experience preferred
-
Open heart experience preferred
-
Nice-to-have certifications: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN

Provides bedside nursing care, carries out physician orders, and collaborates on individualized care plans
-
Delegates and coordinates nursing tasks among ancillary staff including Nurse Assistants and Patient Care Associates

Participates in patient conferences and discharge/transfer planning
-
Precepts and mentors new employees and students as needed
-
Integrates evidence-based practice into patient care delivery

No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract

Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration
