Job Summary
We're on the hunt for a super awesome Medical Assistant to come join our healthcare Team for a part time position. We are looking for someone who's dedicated and has a big heart full of compassion. You'll be helping out with medical tasks, like taking vital signs, prepping patients for exams, and assisting physicians during procedures. It requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a whole lot of patience. But don't worry, we've got a great team here to support you every step of the way!
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Collect and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
- Support the clinic's operations by managing patient flow.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical practices.
- Proficiency in medical coding practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
