Auto Mechanic
Who is Slick:

Think mobile, with custom built vans and well trained, professional technicians and a cloud-based portal/app for easy scheduling and control. We currently deliver regional service from operational hubs in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, New Orleans, Denver, etc.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanics to maintain and repair fleet vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to deliver maximum reliability and functionality. They are well-versed in diagnosing (45 pt. MPI) and delivering preventative (oil change, lubricating parts, tire rotations etc.) and corrective maintenance (brakes, tires etc.).
Schedule: Mon - Thur 3p-1a (May work Tuesday- Friday some weeks)
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, oil changes) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Upload documentation and logs of work via phone to Slick's proprietary software: TruView.
- Maintain vans, equipment and tools in good condition
Skills
- Proven experience as auto mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment.
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Excellent physical condition
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is nice, as well.
- Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
- DOT Certification highly preferred
