Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for leading construction projects from inception to completion? We are APS Contracting, Inc., a growing general contracting firm specializing in public sector projects, including renovations, additions, and new construction. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage public sector construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and government agencies
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and contracts
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and public procurement requirements
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reporting
- Lead project teams and manage subcontractor performance
- Resolve issues related to project scope, costs, or delays
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of procurement and compliance
- Experience managing renovations, additions, and new construction
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
