The Transportation Data Program Administrator leads data collection, management, analysis, and visualization in support of transportation planning and reporting efforts. The position is within the Transportation Planning and Engineering Division (TP&E) of the Planning and Community Development Department and works collaboratively with divisions within Public Works and Technology and Information Services.
The City of Redmond recently adopted its Transportation Master Plan, which advances the multimodal transportation vision and guiding principles of Redmond 2050, the City’s comprehensive plan. The TP&E Division is tasked with planning and analyzing Redmond’s transportation system, collaborating with divisions in Public Works to implement infrastructure improvements, shifting the travel behaviors of Redmond community members through transportation demand management programs, and evaluating and reporting on progress towards creating an equitable, safe, and sustainable multimodal transportation system. The Transportation Data Program Administrator will play a central role in TP&E’s data-driven work plan and cross-departmental GIS and data initiatives.

Education and Experience

Four years’ experience in program administration or project management in analyzing complex data using advanced tools

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree related to assigned field preferred

Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
