We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with team members, clients, and subcontractors while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure efficient workflow.
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid and Prolog for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular inspections to enforce quality control measures and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers to prepare contracts and manage project estimating processes.
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours worked.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding project updates and changes.
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects, with a strong background in construction management.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools is essential.
- Proficient in using construction estimating software such as PlanSwift is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract management processes within the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective leadership abilities to motivate teams and drive project success.
