Clarendon Childcare Center, located in SFUSD Clarendon Elementary School seeks candidates for part-time teaching positions in the after-school program. Shifts are available from 2:30-6:00/6:30pm, Monday-Friday during the 2025-26 school year. Children served are Clarendon students in kindergarten through fifth grades. The program is both play and academically oriented & strives to provide a safe, nurturing & fun place for children to begin & end their days.
Requirements include: experience working with school-age children & their families; willingness to participate in the development & implementation of a well-rounded curriculum; appreciation of the importance of teamwork; and ability to both supervise and play appropriately with children.
An AA, BA or BS degree or be enrolled in college in pursuit of such degree. Early Childhood Education units which may be substituted by units in physical education, recreation, elementary education, human services or social welfare. At least one year's experience in an Early Childhood Education setting.
Salary ranges from $25-$35/hour based on experience, ability & job description. Benefits include paid holidays, personal days, health insurance & retirement options.
