Alerion Healthcare is hiring a
full-time locums Medical Director (Physician) for a respected client in Harlingen
, Texas. This is a leadership-forward opportunity for a physician who enjoys combining
clinical practice with
medical oversight, quality, and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.
You’ll provide overall direction of medical services and help ensure safe, high-quality care for individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including patients with complex medical, psychiatric, and/or behavioral health needs. The Medical Director also serves as a primary care physician for a select caseload, supports clinicians with complex cases, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and partners with stakeholders to drive operational effectiveness and compliance.
Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
- Active Texas MD/DO license
- Active DEA
- NPI
- Ability to enroll as Medicaid and Medicare Part B provider
