Food-Running Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Running food to guests, correctly and with a professional attitude while identifying tables and seat numbers
- Understanding communication between FOH and BOH
- Ability to lift and balance trays of food upwards to 25 lbs
Bussing Duties
- Greeting each guest upon seating and filling waters for tables
- Bus tables promptly to clear plates and utensils, preparing tables for new guests
- Prepping bussing station before each shift to ensure the restaurant is set up for success
- Proper cleaning techniques for clearing and resetting tables throughout each shift
- Friendly and positive attitude with both our guests as well as fellow employees
Hosting Duties
- Greet guests warmly as a host or hostess, managing seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently
- Take accurate to-go orders using POS systems through Toast
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and friendly in-person customer service skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries
- Keeping both the host stand and restrooms clean and fully stocked throughout each shift
Qualifications For All Three Positions Available
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and order processing
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and restaurant POS systems
- A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service are essential
