Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and food running to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, equipment, and utensils through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting with safe lifting practices to move supplies and equipment
- Support food handling procedures in compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed
- Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and supporting guest needs in the dining area
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests effectively
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Prior banquet or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable, energetic, with a positive attitude and a passion for guest service
