Thunder Hills Country Club is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Executive Chef.
Job Description:
Responsible for all food production throughout the Club.
- Maintains the highest food quality and sanitation standards.
- Oversees back-of-house operations.
- Hires, trains, and manages kitchen staff.
- Sets the staffing schedule.
- Develops recipes and menus.
- Determines plating and presentation plans.
- Orders and evaluates the quality of new food.
- Stocks the kitchen with necessary supplies.
- Helps with financial planning and budgeting.
- Handles and resolves customer complaints.
- Ensures kitchen staff follow all food safety procedures and requirements.
- Sets and implements the kitchen policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Culinary School Degree preferred.
- 3 years culinary experience and supervisory experience.
- Serve Safe certified.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning and staff management.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure.
- Work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
