MRO Program Coordinator / Inventory Controller
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time | On-Site (Flexibility for occasional after-hours support as needed)

Our client is seeking an experienced
MRO Program Coordinator / Inventory Controller to lead day-to-day operations of a critical spare parts and inventory management program at a major manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible role that combines inventory control, warehouse operations, customer relationship management, and operational leadership.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily operations of an on-site MRO and critical spare parts program
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and inventory controls
- Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities
- Ensure critical spare parts and materials are available to support manufacturing operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer concerns, escalations, and service requests
- Attend customer meetings to review KPIs, performance metrics, service levels, and ongoing initiatives
- Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to resolve shortages and improve material availability
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions when issues arise
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Support warehouse operations as needed, including hands-on inventory and material management activities

What You Need to Have:
- 3+ years of leadership experience within warehouse, logistics, inventory, supply chain, or operations environments
- Strong inventory control experience including cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy management
- Experience managing material flow, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
- Experience working with technical products, manufacturing components, MRO supplies, critical spares, or industrial equipment
- Strong customer service and client relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
The Musts:
- Proven experience managing inventory and warehouse operations
- Experience with ERP, WMS, CMMS, or related inventory management systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience working directly with customers and managing escalations
- Ability to analyze operational issues and implement solutions
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working on-site in a hands-on operational role
Preferred:
- Forklift experience or certification
- Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life science, or engineering environments
- Experience managing critical spare parts programs or MRO inventories
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Experience leading operational improvement projects and KPI-driven initiatives
