Elephant Sushi hiring Maitre'd /Host/ess
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Thoroughly understand the OpenTable grid and be able to effectively take reservations, fit in walk-ins, re-grid based on flow, recognise repeat guests and maintain friendliness and positivity through all your encounters.
- Love to serve others. Love people and be a people pleaser. Be creative when it gets busy, remember guest's names, take guest notes and of course have good common sense!
- Checking applicable emails and voicemails and responding professionally to all inquiries.
- Maintaining Host stand cleanliness and organization on a daily basis.
- Able to thoughtfully describe all menu items.
- Maintaining a positive attitude is important every day.
- Showing up ready to work, well dressed and great "Welcome! " attitude.
- Knowing your schedule and showing up to work on-ti
- Understand that you run the Dining Room. So many depend on your wisdom and experience to run a good shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
