Job Summary
All In Solutions (AIS) is seeking multiple licensed and credentialed Pharmacists for hire at the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This essential role ensures prescription accuracy, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in alignment with CMOP, VA, and Joint Commission (TJC) standards, supporting the mission to deliver high-quality care to our nation’s veterans.
Offering up to $10,000 in relocation cost reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify prescription orders for legend drugs, OTC medications, controlled substances (Schedules III–V), and medical/surgical items.
- Conduct pre-verification of medications processed through automated dispensing equipment.
- Review and fill controlled substance orders per DEA and VA requirements.
- Supervise and provide QA oversight of Pharmacy Technicians.
- Identify/document discrepancies (dosage, drug, strength errors, potential mix-ups) per CMOP/VA policy.
- Dispense medications in full compliance with federal regulations, VA directives, and CMOP SOPs.
- Follow hazardous material/waste handling protocols.
- Complete all required documentation, reporting, training, and QA activities per VA/TJC standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in a U.S. State/Territory/ Commonwealth or D.C.
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school or college of pharmacy.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice (including authority to handle controlled substances).
- Credentialed in accordance with VHA Handbook 1100.19 and VetPro prior to providing services.
- Applicants with disciplinary actions within the last five (5) years must be referred to CMOP management before hire.
- Required: REALID, either in the form of a Drivers License/State ID with the RealID stamp OR Passport.
Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy-related systems.
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in English per 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
- Strong attention to detail; ability to follow SOPs.
- Knowledge of hazardous material/waste precautions and regulatory requirements.
- Physical requirements: stand/sit 8–10 hrs, lift totes up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
Position Details
- Full-time federal contract (approx. five-year performance period).
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; 2nd shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM. Some overtime required.
- AIS provides scheduling, billing, and required computer equipment/software.
- Employment contingent on contract award (anticipated end of September).
Location & Additional Requirements
- Must be on-site at the Ladson, SC CMOP facility during all production hours.
- Must pass background check and meet all VA security/access requirements.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts; hours may expand to evenings, weekends, or split shifts based on operational needs (inclement weather, equipment issues, emergencies, workload transfers, staffing shortages).
