We prioritize excellence in education and are seeking a dedicated Georgia EMS Program Coordinator to be the primary liaison for Georgia EMS and our students. This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Education to ensure compliance with state requirements and to uphold our commitment to high-quality EMS education.

Position Overview:
The Georgia EMS Program Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for the state of Georgia EMS and RCHS students. Working closely with the Director of Education, the coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining educational standards and compliance with state and national requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly review state rosters to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Conduct EMS orientations for new students.
- Cover in-person training sessions, ensuring effective delivery of course material.
- Regularly review course materials to ensure compliance with both state and national requirements.
- Submit all required course documentation to state and national websites.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as mandated by state and national standards.
- Assist in conducting in-office new hire training sessions.
- Provide support for online/hybrid instruction.
- Stay in constant communication with the Education Director through digital channels.
- Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping, documentation, and report generation.
- Attend meetings via Google Meet to stay informed and contribute to organizational objectives.
- Submit new course applications to the state and ensure maintenance of all required approvals.
Qualifications:
- Georgia EMS Certification- AEMT or Paramedic.
- GA Coordinator Certification at the AEMT level required.
- GA Instructor Certification Required.
- Experience interfacing with the state.
- Previous experience in EMS education coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of Georgia EMS regulations and requirements.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking initiative to address issues and accomplish tasks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office and Google programs.
- Positive, personable, and flexible.
- Required: Must be able to gain Georgia Instructor Certification within 6 months of hire.
Some travel may be required.
