About the Role
Valcor Security is hiring an Assistant Manager to support division operations across a portfolio of residential, hospitality, and specialized accounts in Los Angeles. This is a hybrid leadership role: part field officer, part operations manager. You work alongside the Division Manager, learn the accounts from the ground up, and step into real management responsibility from day one. This is the proving ground for our next Division Manager.
Pay & Schedule
- Full-time
- Full availability required: days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
- Responsive availability for operational emergencies and coverage gaps
Minimum Requirements
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required)
- Exposed Firearm Permit preferred (role is unarmed; armed capability is a plus)
- Military veteran or law enforcement background preferred
- Solid security experience; supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with technology: scheduling systems, mobile reporting apps, and digital operations tools
- Reliable transportation and ability to move between sites
Core Responsibilities
- Support the Division Manager in daily operations across multiple accounts
- Work flex officer shifts across division sites: learn every post, every client, every team
- Assist with officer scheduling and coverage using our scheduling platform
- Handle call-offs, coverage gaps, and last-minute operational changes
- Conduct site checks and help enforce quality and uniform standards
- Train and support officers in the field
- Step in as the division's operational backup when the Division Manager is unavailable
