Job Summary
Small nonprofit seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide support to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role focuses on promoting independence, safety, and full participation in community activities while providing necessary physical and personal support. Training provided in friendly, supportive group environment.
Location: Lebanon, NH, Hanover, NH and Enfield, NH
Positions: Full time and Part time
Day, Evening and overnight positions available.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support daily living activities such as personal care, meals, medications, transportation, and routines
- Assist with safe participation in a wide variety of community-based activities (outings, errands, recreational activities, appointments, etc.)
- Encourage independence, choice-making, and self-advocacy
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and person-centered approach at all times
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred
- Comfortable providing physical and personal care
- Dependable, patient, and engaging
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background checks
