Job Summary
Hurtt Fabricating has an exciting new career opportunity and is accepting applications and resumes for shipping/receiving position. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, attention to details, manage time efficiently and enjoys working outside in a hands-on environment.
The shipping/receiving associate:
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments and verify PO’s, affix appropriate shipping labels, stamps or stencils on a variety of containers.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely safe manner with forklift
- Operate forklift to move, transport shipments from trucks to the shipping and receiving storage or work area.
- Can continuously stand up to 10 hours and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- You must wear protective equipment such as safety shoes, ear protection and eye protection.
- Perform any necessary duties needed to ensure shipments are properly loaded for transport to the customer
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good basic math skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Forklift Certified or the ability to be certified.
- Must be able to work well with a team
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Work outside in all types of weather
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Applicants must be dependable, punctual, and safety oriented. All applicants offered a job will be drug tested.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
