Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks,
- Load and unload equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and vehicle maintenance
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (A CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road
- Good communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset
