The Lead Facility Cleaner plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of facilities while also managing and supporting a cleaning team. This role requires strong leadership skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a high-demand environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff responsible for manually cleaning designated equipment, office areas, shops, and other areas as assigned.
- Provide guidance, instruction, and support to ensure the team performs their cleaning duties effectively.
- Ensure that these areas are maintained in a clean and organized condition.
- Ensure that the cleaning staff performs their duties diligently to ensure the cleanliness and safety of designated interiors and exteriors.
- Verify that designated areas are clean, safe, and ready for passengers.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, to monitor all cleaning crews.
- Be available to handle unexpected issues or emergencies.
- Manage all aspects of staff discipline, including performance coaching and disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director of Maintenance or General Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Salary
- $18.00 per hour
- Paid biweekly
