Location: Private Residential Townhouse Community
Private Room + utilities, laundry room, garage/parking space: rent $475/mo
Paid Support Hours Available: 32-40 hours/week available, $23.00/hour; selective
afternoon/evenings and overnight (sleep shift) paid through Creative Concepts Living Services

Position Summary:
This position is for a female adult companion, assistant, and roommate to participate as part of a dedicated support team for a creative, light-hearted, independent neurodivergent female adult resident. The role focuses on at least two areas that include: 1) providing basic needs and support, and 2) enthusiastic interactions and planned activities. Located in a townhouse community of caring neighbors, this role offers room for professional growth. You will have opportunities to introduce new activities utilizing your personal gifts, talents, and interests to contribute to the well-being of the entire household.
Core Responsibilities:
- Daily Routine Support: Assist resident with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, dog walking, scheduling, and personal care, following established individual person plan (IPP).
- Environment Management: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the communal and private living spaces within the residence.
- Activity Facilitation: Lead or assist in recreational, educational, Biblical, spiritual, and social activities designed to enhance the well-being of the resident.
- Documentation: Complete shift logs, critical incident reports, and contribute to progress reports.
Team Collaboration Expectations:
- Shared Tasks: Coordinate with team members to divide daily household and care duties fairly based on scheduled shift plans.
- Communication: Utilize specified communication channels (such as digital logs or team meetings) to share updates, ask questions, and report changes in resident’s behaviors or needs.
- Conflict Resolution: Address workplace or peer conflicts directly and constructively through established team protocols or supervisor mediation.
Required Qualifications:
- Background Clearance: Must successfully pass a background security check and fingerprinting (i.e. Livescan). Cost can be reimbursed after probationary period has ended with proof of receipt. Lower cost locations available.
- Education: Must be comfortable participating in and navigating a college environment.
- Mindset & Reliability: A flexible mindset with a demonstrated ability to learn new ways of doing and being. Must be reliable, consistent, punctual, and highly task oriented.
- Execution: Strong follow-up and follow-through skills on all assigned duties.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech Literacy: Basic knowledge of technology and familiarity with standard social media outlets.
- Living Skills: competent in maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.
- Training: Paid training on company policies, procedures, documentation etc. as well as in-person shadowing with the resident and previous staff to ensure a smooth transition.
