Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lemon Law Trial Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will support attorneys in preparing and managing lemon law cases from initial filing through trial. This role requires strong organizational skills, legal knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume caseload of lemon law claims and lawsuits
- Assist in case preparation, including drafting pleadings
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to lemon law litigation
- Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical
- Prepare exhibits and demonstrative evidence for trial
- Assist attorneys during trials, including managing documents and exhibits
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Schedule depositions, hearings, and other case-related events
- Perform general paralegal duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with case management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with state-specific lemon laws and related consumer protection statutes
- Trial preparation experience
