Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably across various industries including construction, agriculture, and transportation. Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines
- Conduct maintenance on tractor trailers (18 wheelers)
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC, shocks & struts, and brake systems.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting and repair.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with tire service, assembly of parts, and other general mechanic duties as required.
Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within automotive repair or service technician environments.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance.
- Experience with heavy lifting and working with industrial equipment is essential.
- CDL preferred but not mandatory.
- Electrical experience is a plus, along with skills in soldering for electrical repairs.
- Ability to work on tractor-trailer systems is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
