Senior Accountant – Established CPA Firm
We are an established CPA firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round position based in our Chatham office. The Senior Accountant will primarily provide tax support for business clients, including:
- Preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns
- Resolving complex tax issues, which may involve interaction with federal, state, and local tax authorities
- Assisting clients with accounting software
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Strong accounting background
- Active license in good standing as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting from an accredited institution
- Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Accounting Software Suite and QuickBooks preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
