Job Summary
Join our dynamic pet care team as a Kennel Attendant and Front Desk Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our guests and providing exceptional service to pet owners. This energetic position combines animal care with front desk responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a lively, pet-focused environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable space for animals while delivering friendly, professional customer service to clients. Duties
- Process dog check-outs at pick-up, following our intake/release procedures
- Monitor dogs in daycare and boarding throughout your shift
- Feed, water, and medicate dogs according to each animal's care instructions
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Communicate clearly with owners at pick-up about how their dog's day went
- Assist with laundry, supply restocking, and end-of-day closing duties
- Flag any health or behavioral concerns to the manager immediately
Experience
- Previous kennel experience or working in animal care facilities is advantageous for understanding sanitation protocols and animal management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with pet grooming techniques, animal restraint methods, and pet boarding procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects or animals safely while maintaining team lifting protocols.
